The Northeast Family Institute
The Northeast Family Institute hired GPI Construction as Construction Manager to create a new hospital diversion program in Brattleboro. They purchased an eclectic Victorian that housed three apartments with the plan to build an addition that would house seven bedrooms and a large activity space, while utilizing the existing structure for programming and office space.
Greenberg and Associates architects designed the new and renovated spaces. This project was executed using Integrated Project Delivery, where GPI brought in the architect and utilized subcontractors to develop electrical and mechanical systems, while competitively bidding every trade. The new space is bright and airy with many security features that enhance client safety and program workflow.
GPI self-performed all carpentry work, renovating 4,972 square feet of existing space and building 3,670 square feet of new space for $808,000.
