Brattleboro Retreat Tyler III

GPI Construction and the Brattleboro Retreat have been working together for more than ten years to create construction solutions for their facility. In February of 2023 they decided to renovate the adolescent inpatient unit in to a level 1 adult unit for state hospital patients.

As former Director of Facilities at the Retreat, Anthony Girard, GPI Vice President, held a series of construction design meetings and ultimately designed and specified every detail that went into this renovation. Resounding from the unit clerk to the unit manager, every time we see the staff now they say: “We really like our unit”
