GPI was selected as Construction Manager and provided services to renovate Clark-Canal buildings in Brattleboro consisting of 12 apartments in 4 buildings and to Phelps Court in Windsor, VT consisting of 13 apartments in 3 buildings.

The scope of construction included building envelope improvements, foundation work, electric and plumbing upgrades, window and door replacements, energy efficiency upgrades, heating and cooling system replacements, roof replacements, new finishes on the interior and exterior, new sprinkler systems as needed, and site and drainage work.

All of the buildings, excluding 8 Phelps Court, were historic (built 1880-1905), several listed on the National Register of Historic places. The project upgraded 25 apartment units for a total cost of $4.5 million.
