GPI Construction, Inc. was founded in 1975. Over the years they have grown into one of Brattleboro Vermont’s most respected Construction Companies providing services to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
We have extensive experience with commercial construction, historic preservation, publicly funded projects, however, over our long history, we have assembled an extensive and varied portfolio.
In addition to superior construction services, we are a community minded organization, we have maintained our offices in Brattleboro since 1975 and have been an integral part of the community and surrounding area. We believe that our references, projects and community service speak volumes for the integrity of our company.
Joe has over 28 years of construction experience and a graduate of the University of NH with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
As president and owner of GPI, he focuses on overall company direction, strategic planning, estimating and project management.
Joe enjoys boating, skiing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
Anthony has lived in the Brattleboro area since 1998 with a brief foray to North Carolina, as Vice President at GPI Construction Anthony focuses on Social Services, Education, and Healthcare construction, managing the Great River Terrace project for the Windham Windsor Housing Trust, the new Groundworks Collaborative Drop-In Center, and managing work at the Brattleboro Retreat and Southwestern Vermont Health Care facilities in addition to many others.
Before GPI, Anthony served as Director of Facilities at the Brattleboro Retreat from 2008-2015 where he oversaw $20+ Million in construction and renovations projects.
With a passion for sustainability, he co-founded Higley Hill Farm in Wilmington providing local organic food year-round, selling greens and other vegetables at the Brattleboro Winter and Summer Farmers Markets
He enjoys sailing, cross-country skiing, and all things outdoors.
Alyssa has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources From UVM. She has over 20 years of experience in Bookkeeping and Benefits Administration. Her role at GPI is to oversee all bookkeeping and HR responsibilities in the Business office.
When not working Alyssa is a busy mother. She loves hiking and gardening and mostly loves watching her kids play sports.
Julie came to GPI with over 20 years’ experience in office management, bookkeeping and Human resources. As the office manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations, making sure things run smoothly.
Outside of the office, you can find her snapping photos, traveling to all places warm and spending time with her family.
Becks has worked in construction, fabrication and building engineering for over 30 years on a wide variety of projects including hospitals, recreational facilities, schools, water treatment plants and industrial facilities. As a project manager at GPI, he enjoys working with clients, designers and contractors to ensure a high-quality finished product that is done within budget.
Outside of the office, Becks enjoys hanging out with his wife, two sons and two French Bulldogs at their historic 1769 home in Guilford, Vermont. Becks is an avid downhill skier and can often be found on winter weekends at nearby Magic Mountain.
